REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1a. Pre-Conservatory applicants:  Submit Participant Questionnaire. There is no audition necessary.
1b. Junior & Senior Conservatory applicants: must register here to attend a live audition.

For Junior & Senior Conservatory applicants who live more than 2 hours from the Mason Gross campus, you may submit an audition video.
2a. Pre-Conservatory students may register here after completing the Participant Questionnaire.
2b. Junior & Senior Conservatory applicants await notification of audition outcome.
3. While waiting on notification of acceptance, apply for financing options through the Rutgers Federal Credit Union.
4. Rutgers Summer Dance Junior or Senior Conservatory students register online and submit Participant Questionnaire following notification of acceptance.

5. All Dance Conservatory students must complete required medical forms and return via Certified Mail. Please make sure to include the name of the summer camp and the session they are attending on the envelope.

Students who have not submitted required health forms by June 5, 2017 may not be allowed to participate in camps.

NOTE: students may purchase health insurance from Rutgers University Risk Management at the time of registration. Cost is $70/week. Please email Ms. Dana Wilson (dw538@mgsa.rutgers.edu) to inform her if you plan to purchase health insurance.

OUR APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 29, 2017

Registration for the Summer Dance Conservatories opens on October 15, 2016, and closes on June 29, 2017, or whenever the camps reach maximum enrollment. Applications received after June 29, 2017 will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Rutgers Junior & Senior Dance Conservatories

 


ELIGIBILITY & FEES

RUTGERS DANCE PRE-CONSERVATORY
SESSION DATES
  • Session I: July 16-21, 2017
  • Session II: July 23-28, 2017
  • Students may attend one or both sessions.  Weekend stay is not available for Pre-Conservatory students wishing to participate in both sessions.

Eligibility: Students ages 11–18 may apply.
Registration Begins: October 15, 2016
Registration Ends: June 29, 2017

Tuition:
  • Residential Rate: $1,225 per session (includes room, board, meals, and activities)
  • Commuter Rate: $825 per session*

Junior Dance Conservatory
SESSION DATES
  • Session I: July 16-21, 2017
  • Session II: July 23-28, 2017
  • Students may attend one or both sessions. Weekend stay is not available for Junior Conservatory students wishing to participate in both sessions.

Eligibility: Dancers ages 11 to 14 (rising sixth, seventh, and eighth grade) may apply.
Registration Begins: October 15, 2016
Registration Ends: June 29, 2017.  Applications after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Tuition:
  • Residential rate (room, board, tuition and all activities): $1,300 per session
  • Commuter rate: $900 per session*

Senior Dance Conservatory
SESSION DATES
  • Session I: July 16-21, 2017
  • Session II: July 23-28, 2017
  • Senior Conservatory Dual Session:  July 16-28, 2017
  • Students attending the Senior Conservatory Dual Session participate in a weekend program that includes instructional sessions, a visit to NYC for a professional dance concert, and weekend overnight housing & meals for residential students.  

Eligibility:  Dancers ages 14 to 18 (rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and rising seniors) may apply.
Registration Begins: October 15, 2016
Registration Ends: June 29, 2017.  Applications after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Tuition:
  • Residential rate: $1,300 per session (room, board, and all activities)
  • Commuter rate: $900 per session*
*All commuter tuition fees include tuition, lunch, and concert tickets for students.
