REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. All Dance Conservatory applicants: must register here to attend a live audition.

For applicants who live more than 2 hours from the Mason Gross campus, you may submit an audition video.  The deadline for submitting an audition video is May 19, 2018.
2. Conservatory applicants await notification of audition outcome.
3. While waiting on notification of acceptance, apply for financing options through the Rutgers Federal Credit Union.
4. Accepted students register online and submit Participant Questionnaire following notification of acceptance.

5. All Dance Conservatory students must complete required medical forms and return via Certified Mail. Please make sure to include the name of the summer camp and the session they are attending on the envelope.

Session I students who have not submitted required health forms by June 18, 2018 may not be allowed to participate in camps.

Session II students who have not submitted required health forms by June 25, 2018 may not be allowed to participate in camps.

NOTE: students may purchase health insurance from Rutgers University Risk Management at the time of registration. Cost is $70/week. Please email Ms. Dana Wilson (dw538@mgsa.rutgers.edu) to inform her if you plan to purchase health insurance.

Registration for the Summer Dance Conservatories opens on December 15, 2017, and closes on June 11, 2018, or whenever the camps reach maximum enrollment. Applications received for session I after June 11, 2018 will be reviewed on a case by case basis.  Applications received for session II after June 18, 2018 will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

ELIGIBILITY & FEES

DANCE PRE-CONSERVATORY
SESSION DATES
  • Session I: July 15-20, 2018
  • Session II: July 22-27, 2018
  • Students may attend one or both sessions.  Weekend stay is not available for Pre-Conservatory students wishing to participate in both sessions.

Eligibility: Dancers entering grade 9 through rising seniors (students entering their first year of college) may apply.
Registration Begins: December 15, 2017
Registration Ends:  Session I – June 11, 2018; Session II – June 18, 2018.  Late applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Tuition:
  • Residential Rate: $1,375 per session (includes room, board, meals, and activities)
  • Commuter Rate: $975 per session*
  • Audition fee: $25 (additional to tuition)

Dance Conservatory
SESSION DATES
  • Session I: July 15-20, 2018
  • Session II: July 22-27, 2018
  • Senior Conservatory Dual Session:  July 15-27, 2018
  • Students attending the Senior Conservatory Dual Session participate in a weekend program that includes instructional sessions, a visit to NYC for a professional dance concert, and weekend overnight housing & meals for residential students.  

Eligibility: Dancers entering grade 9 through rising seniors (students entering their first year of college) may apply.
Registration Begins: December 15, 2017
Registration Ends: Session I – June 11, 2018; Session II – June 18, 2018.  Late applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Tuition:
  • Residential rate: $1,450 per session (room, board, and all activities)
  • Commuter rate: $1,050 per session*
  • Audition fee: $25 (additional to tuition)
*All commuter tuition fees include tuition, lunch, and concert tickets for students.
